Situation

L’aurberge wanted to drive current customers into their casino and resort during the slower timesof the week, since the bulk of many casinos’ business is derived over the weekends.

Approach

The client’s promotional marketing firm and HITS constructed a campaign inviting customers to come to the casino during the early part of the week to pick up their WebDecoder® game piece. Once at the casino, customers went to a desk and received a game piece with a unique ID. After registering, the guest would hold the game piece over a blue screen running at a kiosk. Every game piece was a winner at some level of value.

Result

L’auberge was pleased with the results of the month-long program, which helped bring in a significant percentage of the targeted customers. Two of the sister casinos owned by L’auberge’s parent company have chosen to launch their own WebDecoder® -based promotions.
